Here is the next progress photo of my door.
Major update includes center panel background is now space blue.
also ive added fish and stuff on the right hand side.

I just finished my latest canvas, 30cm x 30cm and have titled it “Night Flight”
here are 4 photos, from the start to the finish.
Blank canvas has been painted titanium white with a few coats, and a simple black border to begin.
More detail being added, but at this stage im not sure what im actually making…
More detail and now i know im making a nightmare cityscape, so progress is faster.

Hey all.
My parents own a shack along the coastline of south australia.
A few weeks ago i was given a 1.2m x 1.2m canvas to use when i stay there…
So, each time i drop in, ive added to this work. Its intermittant and will take a while because of the size as well as the on/off nature.
However I am pretty pleased with the progress so far.
The start – mostly a series of concentric circles.
Gives you a sense of scale on the canvas.
3 maybe 4 legs done. who the hell knows how many in the end.

Just a border I’ve made for my newest canvas. NOt 100% certain what I will place in the middle.
on April 13 2012, my daughter Ella was born. Â Being a new dad sure does change you. It’s amazing.
Just prior to her birth, and just after I worked on a 30cm x 30cm canvas.
It is called “Ella vs the Daemon”
