I spent a few days at my parents shack on the coastline of south australia. Sitting on a shelf was a tiny blank canvas – i couldnt resist so drew (with brush pen) this piece. Hope you like it, and i hope your new year is kicking ahead smoothly.

This project is being recorded by stop motion video, which is why i can be so accurate on the time being spent on this project. 7 hours 7mins of drawing footage when this photo was taken.

My latest project is another black and white canvas.
Using a bunch of pens, it started off as the concept: walking space pirate ship on the moon.
It was a lot of detail involved. In fact it seems each artwork i do ends up more detailed than the last.
But over time i added this giant laying in the ship. Is he dead or sleeping?
Buildings! Birds!
Be nice to your mother. Give your dad a hand around the yard once in a while. Play with your pet. Smile more.
You can’t have enough love in this world. Make more and share it.

It’s a work in progress but it has taken a long time to get even this far, so i thought you should all see how its coming along.
